Section 10. Reviewer’s comments. (44:39 — 44:13). Sheri Couture Ph.D., R. Psych., co-chair of the research team on Turning Points in Therapeutic Conversations, ends the session with her impressions. This series of the same “client” in three sessions with three therapists representing three post-modern therapeutic models was a workshop attended by over 200 mental health professionals in Cochrane, Alberta, September 15-16 2005. The audience had a chance to debrief each session with “Kim” and that therapist about what it was like for them and what came out differently as a function of therapist model and interviewing style. Lance Taylor M.Sc., R. Psych. was demonstrating the Solution Focused Brief Therapy model, while Nick Todd was representing a Systemic Narrative model. Frank went last, representing his Solution Oriented Counselling model. The article “Turning Points in Therapeutic Conversations” was subsequently published in the Journal of Systemic Therapies (Strong, T. et al, 2008).
